This report tracks the availability of TV network, vMVPD, streaming video service and sporting league apps on TV-connected devices. As of August 2024, TV-connected devices were installed in 93.8 million homes. Within this report we track the availability of apps within 93 percent of those households, depicting their reach to as many as 87.1 million homes.
The TV Ownership Trends Report quantifies the U.S. TV installed base, room location trends, and delves into what drives consumers to replace their TVs. The dashboards include an 11+ year trend. These data provide a view of how the TV replacement cycle impacts the resulting installed base. The dashboards are updated quarterly.
